P comme Peinture
After completing several artistic series, I’ve chosen to take a new step by returning to the essentials: painting without market constraints or sales strategies.
The Gift as a Constant
The true uniqueness of this project lies not only in the medium but in the continuity of a commitment: the choice of giving (it all) up. Just as with my previous series, I have decided with « P for Painting » to offer my works for free.
Why persevere in this direction?
- Because art should be able to circulate freely.
- Because a gifted work creates a more direct, more human, and more sincere connection.
- Because painting fully exists outside the commercial framework.
The Material
Today, I create exclusively on cotton rag paper. It is a resilient and living medium; its natural fibers offer a deep texture that reveals every nuance of color. These paintings carry the memory of a fleeting moment.
The Trace
Before a painting leaves to join someone, I take a photograph of it. Not to replace it, but to preserve its memory: the trace of a moment, of a gesture. This photograph is, of course, also available for free.
